Default Carbon Fiber Gravel Gaurds

Has anyone run w/ them and if so do they create any unwanted excess rigidness to the chassis so that it performs similar to the ttr tunnel chassis?
They can be found here and will fit about any buggy you purchase.

They break too easy. Look AWESOME, but not worth the $.
