im a die-hard losi fan...but with any company there will be flaws in the car...i wont be looking to get one till losi gets everything figured out.
although losi has dominated r/c for many years....we will see if they will dominate in the 1/8 scale class....!

im pretty sure it will be a good competetive car!!

well, considering how many different manufactures there are for 1/8th scale and how how many losi sponsered drivers there are driving every type of 1/8th scale car at the moment. you'll be seeing all of the losi drivers with this and most likely it'll be filling up the A-mains everywhere.

That is if Associated makes one, then that kind of hangs most of the other companies out to dry as far as top sponsored drivers goes!

Are there going to be any hard feelings from some of those companies like Ofna/Jammin X1CR losing Adam Drake, Aaron Waldron? That car was doing pretty well, I had one and loved it. But The American made factor with Losi is always an attention getter when I'm looking for the top of the line buggy/truck.

morris - We can only hope! haha

Jake - That post is CLASSIC! I spit out iced tea when I read that...haha. How ya been? When is your next trip down to the REAL half of California?

Groffball - You might be the first person EVER to want the basic kit instead of the full-option kit..haha! I don't know what their plans are...so I guess we'll see.

Alberico - The guys have been running that wing on their LST "muggies" for a while now and it seems to hold up great (read: can withstand a 12 pound truck landing on it over and over without harm). Should be good!

tex - Overdrive might be kinda tough with a center diff? The three-diff setup is pretty much essential to making the car easier to drive, especially when the track is rough. I'm not saying it's not a worthy idea..and knowing the 4wd guys at Losi, that might be something we mess around with sometime? Ya never know!

Everything else you brought up makes sense..I'm not sure why it hasn't been done. Maybe if the right people read this thread, you'll see some of your ideas someday!

one thing i noticed, the way the sway bars are configured, you dont have alot of room to move the mount up and down the bar to adjust it, that might be something worth looking at, unless there is somthing else planned for that, but i know personally i use that adjustment quite alot on my current car,

bobf - Adjusting the tension on the swaybar itself may not be necessary. On all of Losi's other cars, you simply use different swaybars. I see what you mean, but I don't think it will be a big deal. I'm sure if it's something that needs to happen, people will figure out how to use other bars and mounts.

speedy - Is that from Losi or a rumor?

Buggy looks SWEET! I can't wait to get my hands on one.

Aaron, do you think we will see a 8-T version, or will the MUGGY make it to production? I'm shure Losi will want to get into the truggy class soon, as fast as it is growing. Even a muggy conversion kit would be nice for us that already have an LST.

The main reason I'd like to see a basic kit option instead of the full option kit is price, that way I can pick and choose which options I'd like to put on and do it as the budget allows instead of trying to swallow a 600 dollar kit.

Default I extreme RC

[QUOTE=Aaron Waldron]
zero - I'd hold off before you start expecting a truggy version...the LST truggy might be out sometime soon but I'm not sure if Losi is even planning a truck based from the 8ight.
