I also never said bad stuff about LPH. In fact, I would consider them as a back up if my LHS could not get something or went out of business.

They can hurt sales of other hobby shops because some people would jump on that website and order alot of stuff because they are the 1st to have it. That means loss of business to a LHS. Also If everyone was to buy the parts from LPH then why should the LHS stock parts at the store? I want my LHS to stock the parts and have them on hand when I break at the races!

If you don't support your LHS pretty soon you'll only have internet shops to buy your stuff at and nowhere to race or run with others!!

Lastly, paying a little more at your LHS is no being rodded blind!!! Consider it payment for the services when people can't get there stuff running and need a track to practice at!! An extra $30 isn't that much to pay for a place to keep parts on hand for you, and to give you a place to hang with your friends.

They showed up in the mail today!! It's gonna be fun hearing my LHS owner calling Horizon on Monday!! At any rate if parts are out it's only a short wait for the car now!!
You mention receiving parts for the LOSI 8 what parts did you get? May be some pictures.?

at least there will be parts available when the car is out, unlike other companies that release the car, and then a month or two later the parts start showing up,

The Ofna Challenge results are posted over at neobuggy.net and I noticed 2 8ights in the results. Josh Alton 3rd and Ron Rossetti 8th. They're probably team guys, but we must be getting close to delivery time, at least we know there is more than just the 2 cars we've been seeing

You can find in losi's site ot the results page alot more than 2 drivers with the 8ight and not only form the recent month.

I don't know who Jon Alton is but I think Ron Rossetti works and drives for Losi. He probably got his 8ight when Drake got his.

Pictures of the alum chassis braces. Horizon says they wont be available until 2007 - their web site says Decemeber 2006.

Having the manual online is a very good sign that the car is not too far away from being released. Also those chassis braces look sweet.
