Default NEW PANTHER 1/8 TIRE???

Anyone have a link that shows pics of the New 1/8 buggy tire by PANTHER?? I was told it resembles the Losi Taper pin 1/10 truck tires that people were cutting and mounting on 1/8 buggy wheels?

That looks like a Step Pin to me.

Yeah, that's a step pin, that's not the tire I heard about, I think their calling this new tire a Switch 2.0??? It's supposed to be off of their original Switch, but finner pins like the Losi Taper.

The track I run on in winter, everybody ran cut tapers last year. Now everybody has went with the panther switches in clay compound. Nice tires, hook up great, and last decent. Some cut the outside lug off, and some don't. Doesn't really matter as it's the first thing to wear off anyhow. Just google panther switches and you should find a pic.

I dont have a pic however I will try and explain it. It is a switch with a rounded carcass and has extra center rows of bars. It looks alot like the proline inside job.

I've heard many rumors about Panther used to make Losi's tires. They are from a good source, but I can not prove them.

Yes panther used to make tires for Losi. That is why you will never see a losi sponsered driver use a Panther tire no matter how well it might work. Losi and Panther had a major falling out. The new tire looks great. Maybe the best tread design they have come out with since the Komodo Dragon 2. I just wish they would make a 10th scale buggy tire that looked like that. The 2wd buggy switch needs work.
