Hey anyone run in stock class. Those kickers look big and the landings look like they are set up for the mod motors. Can the stock guys clear them?

It looked like the triple was difficult for the stock guys to clear, but the double is pretty easy, I think stock could hug the pipe and still clear it. It was easy to overclear it in mod. I thought the layout was really fun, even though there were only two jumps. It just seems to have a good rhythm to it, it's fun to race on, lots of good spots to pass, etc...

The triple is hard to clear. All it takes is right timing, speed, and approach. I tried it with my buggy with stock motor and I was able to jump over even over jumping it.

Default race class

Hey Guys,

What's the most popular race class at this track? I'm just getting back into RC and am looking for a new buggy/truck/truggy to race.

I thought I heard a nitro engine in the youtube videos. Do they allow AE GT2's to run here? The minis look pretty cool. I might have to get one of those.

Thanks.

Stock truck is always popular. NO Nitro allowed.

Yes, they should be racing this weekend... I wouldn't see why not. Call down there and check with MT or Slim

Going to the JBRL. So Cal will still have a decent turnout as a lot of the locals do not travel.

Default Stock drivers @ SoCal?

Hey do any of you guys run the stock 27T class. If so have you ran the current layout at So Cal? How does the track run with the stock motor? Seems like this track is set up for the mod guys, just wanted to get feedback from an actual stock class driver that has run the current track.
If you don’t run stock please just pass this post up. I am just interested in getting feedback from stock class on this specific layout.
Thanks guys.

with stock truck if you cant slear the triple then double single is always an option.. better to clear something than not anything at all...

i dont drive stock truck but i follow enough of them to know what they can and can not do.. and for the most part they do clear the triple.. but they have to set up right for it

Stock is fine out there... With only half decent equipment in my Dad's stock truck, I could easily clear the triple and etc...
