Wow that was really fun, good to run at Socal again. Nice to see everyone again. Feel bad about breaking Numan, though.

See you guys next Sunday!

Heck yeah. It is easy to do with 4wd cars since the front tires stear and have the gyro effect. It will just take some practice and probably a couple spare parts! 4wd cars are fun that way. Once you figure it all out they are super controlable in the air!

i know it happens by accident.. and it corrects just at the last moment.. looks sweet.. but i would like to just be able to do it at will.. been trying to do it at the first double.. but i guess practice makes perfect...

You got to turn the wheels just at take off to get the car going side ways and then you counter steern an peg the throttle to bring it back. It is a practice thing. Not fast in racnig but does look neat. The problem with the mini is your timeing needs to be spot on since the wheel base is so short.

I do it in racing all the time, super fast around the track. If you need to turn right after a jump, or even over a big jump, it helps the car land easier. Practice, practice, practice...

Depends on the section. If you have a short landing area it can be fast since it slows the car down upon landing. If you would normally be on the gas landing it is not fast.

I guess that's why all the pro's do it on big jumps, cause it isn't fast... LOL

instead of the entire force of the car on the shocks at once, if you land a little cock-eyed, you will soak it up some with on side, then the other when it lands. This helps the car from bottoming out (this is bad, and slows the car down), and lets you accelerate quicker. Not all "whipping out" include changing the angle as for direction, sometimes it is for the car's 'tilt', if you know what I mean.

I kinda think they are talking about whips like Chucky does, not just changing the cars direction in the air.
