My dad has the day off of work, and my brother and I have the day off of school Friday, so we should be there closer to when it opens. What is a good tire to run when the track is still really soft and damp? Ifmar Pins? Or will holeshots still work well enough?

Everything will pack for the early morning runs but holeshots should be the tire to run this whole race. M3 and R3 work well on a new wet track.

Default Fuzzy

Hole shots do pack awfully fast when the track is wet. I like Fuzzies, they're a nice compromise between Steps, and Holeshots.

Frank. You run the supercross last year?

Since the first car on the new track is less then a day after the track is completed, the track is usually very wet and soft. The end of day one the track sets up due to the number of cars and by day two you are in better shape but with only two days of running on the track and not a ton of time for it to dry out (especially with the colder Dec weather) this track tends not to setup real well for this race. Not to say there is not traction or the layout will not be a blast but the conditions for this race are different then just about any other time you will race at So Cal.

In Johny's post, he talks about his family coming down friday. I am not sure if he means 4 Fridays from now, but I am assumed he meant this week.

Considering he packed the track like 6 times last year, I don't think that it will pack up too much. It packs up a ton less than it will 1:00pm this Friday.

I'll have ifmar pins and komodos along with the normal supply of holeshots for practice this friday.

Slim- Are you planning on a super packing this year's supercross track to keep the foot prints to a minimum?
