Buggy is fun, I don't really notice a difference from truck to buggy. I know some people think one is way harder than the other, but I don't. I've got good motors for both my cars right now, so I can't complain about that either. I've had a monster that was good in the truck, but simply hauls in the buggy. I went back to truck on Sunday, and you can tell be the race results that I was pretty dialed. One or two bobbles. Not sure, but I think I beat Jason's mod buggy time. I know he was also about a second from 15 laps.

One thing I like about truck is I actually have tires for it. For buggy, I have one pair of holeshots I bought, and the rest of the tires were given to me worn.

Johnny-- Driving the buggy although it may "feel" the same will make you a better truck driver! It is awesome you have been able to find setups that feel the same for the two cars but the inhearent instablity of the narrower buggy with a higher power to weight ratio make is easier to drive the truck because if you can get a buggy around the track fast the truck will help hide the little mistakes that with a buggy are harder to control. Bottom line is you will be a better driver when you drive the two different cars.

The thing that I like about truck is that you can turn in the air and it won't turn the car much, if at all. It became obvious to me in qualifying when trying to turn in the air over than table top at san diego. :/ My buggy is a bit looser than my truck, so much that I would consider it a pusher... I think I'm going to try moving the battery forward, although I should also consider buying a different servo, as the one in my truck is an airtronics, but isn't part of the 300 series (not sure what it is...). My buggy has a 362 though .

Yeah, buggy will definitely make a driver out of you. You can't get away with stuff that you can get away with in a truck. When you drive your truck you will be way more smooth and have a better and safer line.

Spread bad info? Just because I say that MY buggy and MY truck feel similar, doesn't mean that everyone's does.

Catching hackey on a bad day? I would say he has more "bad days" that "good days". He does good at socal about half the time, but at other tracks, he is in the back of the field.

And racing Pro Stock on club race? If he's really sponsored, then I eat my vented battery packs.

You are considered a PRO if you are sponsered by a company..be it a full sponsorship or 10% off of their product!! I'm a PRO at my LHS because I get 10% off all the time.
