Hellfire Shock Shaft Wear

Hellfire Shock Shaft Wear
I have noticed that all the coatings on my Hellfire's shock shafts have worn off! I think dirt is getting in between the seal and the shaft and is rubbing the coating away. I put a set of shock sleeves on my Hellfire to prevent dirt from getting in and really messing something up. They can be found at Beeteeracing.com

Placing the Sock Socks/Sleeves or balloons over the springs does change your spring effect some, known fact. You can use balloons or boots over the shafts and those do not effect the spring, but may effect the dampening somewhat.
Also the coating on the Hellfire parts is TiNi (Titanium Nitride) correct? If so thats the problem, TiNi is not well known for staying adhered to items very long.
