Default Proline equivelant to Losi Pink Tapers?

Given the shortage of pink tapers, is there a Proline equivelant? I have a set of R3 Evil Twins, but they don't have the sitebite that the pink tapers do on an indoor, damp clay track.

Prolines Inside job, I believe are the closet thing to pink tapers.

Jason, There are no Proline tires that work when TeamLosi tapers are working. Just look at the race results and you'll see all the Proline racers running Losi tires at the bigger events when the track gets good.

The inside jobs are a wider spaced pattern then Holeshots, so I thought they worked better in a loamy condition where Holeshots loaded up a little. jmo.

The Proline locals say inside jobs are for bluegroove, but we'll see if they run them at the TL race next weekend?

I would say the next best tire if tapers are not available or if the track is rough when it grooves would be BK bars, the best Proline tire would likely be R3 Evil twins, imo.

just my observations and how it has worked for me.

...Jim

R3 square fuzzies with a firm foam. The carcass of the Square Fuzzie is not as thick as the Taper but they work very well in the same conditions.

Evil Twins or Fuzzies....M2 or M3 compound would be the closest equivilent. But like they said, when Tapers are hot, you best be running those also!

If you need truck tires the next closest thing would be pink King Pins

On our indoor track the next best tires are Pink x2000's cut down then R3 square fuzzies

Panther makes the Switches that are extremely good at our track as substitutes. Comes in 2 compounds, clay and soft. We found both good, but clays are phenomenol.

Thanks guys... didn't realize you could buy them directly from panther.

I'm going to give the 'C' switches a shot in my B4.
