Airtronics 94758 for 1/8
Will an Airtronics 94758 be O.K. for steering duty in offroad???
It's 115 oz.in torque and .06 speed at 6.0 volts. Retailer sent me this instead of the 358 and I'm wondering if it'll be sufficient...... |
That is a digital servo. The 358 is a analog servo. 115oz is probably adequate for steering but the 200oz that the 358 has would be better I think.

If it's for a buggy, it should be fine. If you're using it on a truggy though, I'd probably send it back and get the 358. Moving those huge truggy tires around at those speeds with that much weight on them is quite a chore for a servo.

The 947358 will be good in your buggy. I have one in mine with no complaints

if you have the money to spend I would get a 359, same speed as the 758 and same torque as the 358. Best of both worlds.

I had a digital in my buggy for steering and after awhile it freaked out on me. I sent it in, and it didn't take long before it thought left was straight again.. Personally I'd send it back and get the 94358. Can't beat that servo. Plus digi's seem to eat the batteries faster.
