Kyosho RB7 fishtailing a lot.
I recently finished assembling a Kyosho RB7 buggy in stock form as the manual indicate.
I put a brushless 3930kv motor. The car is very fast, but very uncontrolable. It fishtail a lot even at
moderate speed and dry surfaces. Using it in streets (Asphalt) Can not accelerate the car because it fishtail inmediatly.
tried changing the springs tension front and rear and it is the same. Using spikes tires.
i have other kyoshos or tamiyas RWD cars and they are not as uncontrolable as this one.
PLEASE HELP.

In addition to the above posts, ensure the rear shocks are set with a lighter oil than the front. So if you have 35wt in the front, I would try 30wt in the rear. Adjust from there, depending on the surface you're running on.
Also, move the battery all the way back, and perhaps consider some weight in the rear.
The laydown transmission is designed for more corner speed on high grip surfaces, so there is more weight in the centre of the chassis rather than over the rear axle.
With lots of power the rear can easily come loose, especially on dusty surfaces.

Also, spiked tyres on asphalt would be all over the shop with your motor.
Try some road tyres or slicks on the rear.

I had the same issue with my son's RB7ss. I put 20wt in the rear and 40wt in the front. You also have to make sure you have good tires. Once I did all this, it was pretty solid. Also, make sure your rear arms lay flat. If you want more ride height for bashing, throw some SCT wheels and tires on it. Also, like mentioned, make sure you ball diff and slipper isn't too tight.
