Default RC10T3 vs. RC10T4

Looking for something used. How different are the 2? Performancewise? Durability/weak points? Parts support? Thanks!

T3's have not been made for at least 2 years now.

T4's are still being made.

T3 parts will dry up before T4 parts will.

Thumbs up T3 vs. T4

I have had both and now have 2 T4's.Both are great trucks but I would go w/ the T4 its much better on the track. It handles great and has much better steering than the T3.Also it is very easy to work on.

If you're looking for something used, T4's are more commonly seen for sale. And actually most T3's I see on forums for sale people want more for them than T4's are going for. No reason not to get a T4 unless you just like old school stuff.

You will be very happy. The T4 is a lot smoother ride and if you are diligent you should be able to find one in your budget used on these boards.

Some people say that the FT T4 feels twitchy but apart from that it is a very nice kit. The T4 didn't win best car of the year for no reason

Cheers

We race indoor carpet offroad... and our expierence is this..the T4 handles MUCH better. However...the front end is like glass..meaning it breaks much easier then the T3. Axle Carriers and C-hubs. We use wood boards for the layout, wich I realize are NOT very forgiving...but the T3 seems to take more abuse.

I have a T4, and I wouldn't look back, but as far as durability...T3 I think is stronger.

The T3 could be stronger, but the parts avaliability for the T3 sucks. Very, very few hobby shops would have T3 parts these days. Most hobby shops now have a good selection of T4 parts on hand. Plus the T4 is more adjustable, has no E-clips (huge plus!), is easier to work on and is just all around a much better truck. Thats why basically nobody races the T3 anymore.
