Put on the carbon hard arms and the stiffer chassis braces and boy did the car get more responsive. Can't say I like it as I am slower with the car. Have to decide if I go back to normal arms, glue front tires, or change something else on the setup. First, I ought to spend a bit more time behind the wheel to see if I get used to it.

I don’t see one on their site specifically for the ‘74 but among the choices they have, I expect a little height shimming would get the closest one to fit well.

Is everyone running the low profile packs or the normal shorty packs for 13.5. Thanks.

Im running a Reedy 4100 or a Fantom 4000 but I want to try one of the slight bigger packs that split the difference.
Matty gonzalez just won a large stock race with a full size pack but the main was 7-8min and it was a fast track. Just have to weigh the handling benefits vs power fade

i run Protek 4100mah in a yokomo (similar layout) just provides better balance left to right with my electronics setup. I noticed with the 4600 that the right rear preload was significantly tighter than the left to offset the extra weight. Only made a slight difference in handling however the car did favor the left hand corners more than the right with the bigger pack

Can someone help me out with understanding suspension/shock theory? For background I'm running a B74D on indoor clay. What I'm trying to figure out is what advantage would there be to converting to the B74.1 shock and shock tower package?
I have the shocks for the B74.1 in the tool box. So my mind is now wondering if it is worth it to swap shock towers and run the shorter shocks. I'm currently running enough external limiters, that I can easily keep the same droop settings.
The only reason I'm asking is because, after my last track day, my front shock shafts have a slight bend in them and need to be replaced.
