^I suggest you bin the receipt immediately. Preferably in the hobby store itself.
Or do what I do and patronize a LHS that doesn't even issue one, unless you use card. But she prefers cash.

Got mine today through Horizon Hobby directly. Came quick too.
It's a beauty and the detail is amazing! I plan to replace the stock motor, esc, and servo with a Castle Sensored 1512-1800kv Mamba X and PowerHobby 729MBL servo. 4s power provided by PowerHobby 7200mah 100C hardcase lipo. I also want to put the lights on a separate channel and control them independently.
I have been excited about this RTR since it was announced and I'm glad to finally get it. Got mine in blue.

The detail on the Lasernut is great. I love the way it looks but both look to have alot if not the same parts so you can bash with both. The Lasernut does have some tall tires so it will flip more.

Putting it down on our desert track yesterday. I removed all the goofy scale nonsense and slapped on a set of beadlocks with Rock Beasts. This thing really eats up the chunk. I'm in love I think. We need a TLR roller version of this ASAP.

Thanks Dave.
It is really impressive in many ways. Of course it does not have the fit or finish such as a Tekno, but so far I'm very pleased with the purchase.

I've been eyeballing one of these to take out to Glamis (Sand Dunes). I usually take my Losi 8ight Truggy which is beyond a blast out there. Nitro isn't the most convenient when you're 300' and 2 large dunes away from a rollover.
I'm wondering what the comparison would be.

Hello.
I have a question about this model... Can someone tell me how to easy way to clean it? When you drive in wet conditions is mud on the rc model. Yes car is waterproof but you can't clean with water pressure. Please tell me how to? Thanks

Hey guys. It seems 2.2/3.0 SC wheels and 2.2 Crawler wheels are the order of the day talking wheels for the Lasernut U4.
But out of curiosity how about 1.9" Crawler wheels from say Vanquish - with the right hub?
Thanks

I bought one of these yesterday. Nice and cheap on ebay with a 15% off code
Love the look of it, and it will give me something to play around with and mod

I have no idea how you guys with this are having it stay in one piece with 4s. My tenacity dB pro on 3s with a lot of the same drivetrain parts just eats it’s own drivetrain with not much use. All outdrives, center shafts, and axle shafts were toast within 6-8 hours on 3s, track use only. I did the tekno shafts/outdrives in the front and rear, and the mip center shafts/outdrives with the pucks system in the center. I have had bearings literally explode on mine, diff cases develop tons of play (plastic bushing for the outdrives), and the wheels loosen up constantly with tons of blue loctite on them, and just issue after issue. I couldn’t imagine 4s power on this drivetrain, or bigger tires than the DB pro has. Entire drivetrain seems like it was designed for 2s, but when it does work im sure it rips!

Getting close to 300 battery packs through mine now and about ready to install a new chassis; the original chassis is wearing thin in some areas due to rocks grinding away at the bottom.

Hi guys, am in a dilemma.... I bought a pre-owned TEN SCBE, stock (new servo on the way), and I absolutely love it.
Am thinking of getting either the DB Pro or Lasernut. Gone thru countless youtube reviews etc... but wana hear from the owners themselves. I am quite happy with the size of the SCBE, and I like to play both off road tracks and bash a little. Problem is where i stay, there is only about 3 1/10 off road tracks to play. That's it. Sigh. But parts for SCBE seems to be getting rare, and that's worrying me.
TIA for your replies.

I run 2.2 OMF’s on mine, as these wheel are narrow it means to don’t have to used super wide hubs to clear the spindles
