Xray XB8TQ Forum

I've got mine coming in a week or two. Who else here is getting one? I can't wait to start bulding it, I've been hearing about Xray's reputation for quality for so long, now I will finally be able to see if it lives up to the hype.

Anybody have any expirence with the starburst wheels that are included? Should I mount some tires up to 'em or just toss 'em and run dishes?

im getting mine pretty soon, im just waiting for the price quote from my local hobby shop. where are you getting yours and how much did you pay for it?ive been running the regular xb8 and just sold it for the TQ version. the starburst wheels are ok.

I'm getting mine through my LHS's supplier which in Canada is CanWest RC (www.canwestrc.com). The retail price is about $725cdn ('bout $600usd), I work there though so I get it at cost, which rocks. I haven't actually got it yet, our supplier is still waiting for Xray to send them or for them to arrive.

You can check www.tiltyard.com for the TQ kits. I think he might have them. If not, he'll have the best price!!!

tq kits

Greg HOmer (Tiltyard) doesn't have the Tq kits yet. they haven't been released yet. They were supposed to announce when the release was going to be sometime this week according the the Xray forum. When they do come out Tiltyard will have the best price thats for sure.
