3d printed carpet tires
Anyone tried printing tires for carpet racing yet?
Obviously it won't work as good as the ones we can buy, but fun to experiment. Thought I would try front tires as they have less wear. Made a few tries, got to some decent grip with Ninjaflex (85 shore TPU) filament. Sadly they only last a few laps... thought it would be cool to share. Top one is based on Proline Prism, bottom one is a thread inspired on dirt bike tires. And yes, I know there's a 3d printing section on the forum. But this is exclusively related to off road racing too. |
pretty cool, though I find it odd that 85 shore would wear faster!
