Backyard off-road track

Your track looks pretty good so far. I like that 4-5 foot elevation change. With those I like to have a jump before the drop off and then it's kind of like a ski jump where the down slope is the landing ramp. Good stuff!

I got lucky on that section. It was a natural elevation change to begin with. I just shapped it a bit and made it a step up step down. Its super fun. I'm gonna make that large jump to the lower section a bit smaller, more friendly, and it will habe a landing for the upper section. Or clear that and land on the lower landing(also re shaping that)

You all have some very nice backyard tracks. Love it. I started doing one of my own recently since I have been stuck at home self distancing. I don't have a big backyard but I have my Lanes done up and just got a hold of some dirt for jumps do to them breaking ground to dig out a basement to build a new house next door. Ask the guy on the track hoe If you would dump a few Scoops over the fence. I have a bunch of old railroad ties that used to surround the sandbox in the backyard that I plan on using under the jump so it would take less dirt. Now time to start shoveling

I'm envious of your tracks.

If we're looking at the whole backyard I would take out the pipes and put a big pile of dirt in the middle that can be a jump you can approach from several angles or drive around and then put big berms on each end. That will maximize your space. Good luck!!!
My track gets so dusty. The last time we ran the dust was kicking up and created a haze over the whole block. Oops. I need to water it down before running next time to be a good neighbor.
