Default GV REX-X Pro or HoBao Hyper PBS PCR Pro!

Hi Guys!

I am new to offroad, i have been racing onroad for the last 5 years on / off. But i am between a rock and a hard place trying to decide on a ride.

Imput is greatly appreciated

The two i have been looking at is between the GV REX-X Pro & the HoBao PBS Pro RTR. The GV has great local support from LHS's and parts are alot easier to get. The HoBao looks like i would need to order online from a store in Perth. I know Hobao have released the Hyper 8, but i am on a budget and not sure off road is my thing yet

GV: http://www.modelengines.com.au/cars/REX-X%20OPTION.pdf

HoBao: http://www.ozshops.com/cgi-bin/RT_Resp.cgi?1.IL&mt=na&re=h&nt=dynamic&ta=rmshyper pcrpro_detail::rms,d:rmshyperpcrpro.txt,p:,s:,i:rm shyperpcrpro.jpg,t:rmshyperpcrpro.gif&ip={mt=da&it =n&ap=radio&co=prdetail&us=1142670624-38&kn=cat.brand-595&}

Thanks

Look forward to your imput guys!

Personally I would go with the Hyper ,the other car here in the states is the XTM unit , WAY hard to get parts for and the angles servo tray for some reason in a good crash breaks the servo cases ?? Not sure why but have seen it happen twice so far and only on that car!

mremtr:

Thank you!

Is the XTM the pro kit with the c/fibre top deck or the alloy one? Over here it is easier to get GV/XTM parts...

Everyone:

Does anyone else have any thoughts?

Thanks

if ur in aussie go with the GV 1 i had the nitro blaster and the parts are cheap and its pretty good but if i was u i would get a HPI savage...i was gona get that commodore offroader from GV but it was tooo expensive, crappy engine for a size that big,no hop ups so i got the savage and its INSANE..i got the 4.6 SS for 670 with hi torqe servo,4 litres fuel, spare spur gear and shock oil

Go with 4WD Electric, Put a Brushless setup in a BJ4. It will be faster and cheaper than your noisey nitro 1/8 scales

The more and more i am leaning towards the GV/XTM. But please keep up with the feedback, especially any of those that have raced the GV!

Thanks
