5 or 6 min. quals & mains - no problem. Where do you race electric that runs longer than that? Anything over 6 min. w/ 6 cells and your just abusing your equipment (especially the magnets) anyway.

***WOW!!!***
Sounds like a big local conspiracy to sell more stock motors & XXX brushes!
How long are the mod mains at your club?
Does 1/12th scale run for 12 min? If they do, I'm moving out your way!

Seriously though, if that works for your club, more power to ya! Thats 3 extra minutes of fun!

Keith, If Im reading this right, you bought a new CO 27 ran it and it blew apart from where it was balanced? If this is the case then call Trinity and send it in. They will most likely want to see this and replace yours for another.

Dunno what they run the pancars....Our heats are only 5 min though.Yea the 8 min is perty harsh on the motors.I wish they would knock it down to 5.I hate saying this cuase I love my track, but it might be time for a change...I cant handle loosing a motor after every night of racing.
