Difference in sound between rc10t4 & MF2
My buddy and I were racing our trucks when I noticed that his rc10t4 is
MUCH quiter than my MF2...Is this due to design or is something in my tranny going on that isn't suppose to? Keep in mind BOTH trucks are BRAND new, same motor and funny enough built by myself...Can anyone out there help?

trannys
electric trannys by the way not dudes dressed wrong.
yes losi will make a sound from them but that is normal the mf2 and bk2 new tranny designs make some noise that the mf and bk didnt mkae. also the new b4 and t4 are now running the STEALTH tranny super quite never any noise unless its coming apart. no worries but the new losi diffs will need to be rebuilt about once a month, the reason the losi diff rings are very soft metal and wear in a groove from the diff balls easily, watch your diff adjust closely on the mf2. something that i found helped my mf2 diff was using team birdman diff. lube works great and i now get almost three months between rebuilds racing 2 to 3 times evry week.
and no diff. balls are not something that above mention trannys, wrong dressing dudes, have.
see ya have fun racing

Octane---Thanks for the reply...It set my mind at ease..I was also informed that the kevlar spur gear has a role in the noise level as well...
