Stickin with what I used to have/race with . Losi , went and got the losi 8ight XE, tekin t8 combo 1900kv , and a 1700kv motor , tekin250 servo , specktrum dx5r , protek 4s 5500 and the protek 66 duo charger . Now time to build . Thnx for all the input/opinions . Made me think , a little .

Awesome choices..I like ProTek and have a 150T servo, protek Silicon Graphene 4s 100c 5600mah, dynamite passport ultra p2 Charger with a Pyramid PSV-300 power supply. After this coming season I will be upgrading to the XE.

Finished build , gonna have to rotate the RX8 esc , wires are hitting the underside of the body , but shes done .

Nice looking rig. I have the predecessor (Eight 4.0) with the same electronics and I am very pleased. Once you have honed driving skills, you should not have any trouble staying out in front.

I race this year Sworkz S35-3E with a Performa Racing Radical motor 2100KV and Hobbywing Xerun XR8 Plus esc. Servo is a Bluebird Coreless 32KG.

You need two cars if racing and bashing. I like your tires, and that Tekin 250 servo is awesome once you figure it out. Get rid of the stock arm if it causes problems, I had issues with it. I have two cars for racing and bashing, a Losi 3.0 8E, and an XB8E 18 XRAY for racing. I put a truggy motor in the Losi and blew the motor off the mount. I had to modify it to take a larger, and I mean a much larger screw. That truggy motor does not play easily, looking at getting wheelie bars. I also installed the larger Badland tires and lowered the pinion to 14.
