Casper, according to Bill... The 512 will have the dyno v2 in it as well!!!!

That will be my next charger i believe.

Duratrax im sure has a great product and i see them at the track all the time. But, in my experience, it's still a duratrax. If i could just get past the fact that i dont care for the brand, i would use it.

Team much more has really done a poor job of putting together features in their line of battery/motor accessories. The total cost on their charger is less than 100 dollars, and the charge at the store is well over 175. The huge markup is dissapointing. They have given away hundreds of units and are , in my oppinion, trying to compensate for the loss.

Competition Electronics is most definitely a stable brand. They work off of quality and not quantity. The price of their units may be sky high, but they aren't making very much money. The heatsinks, case, fan, displays, buttons, are all made from high grade components. They make chargers that last .. and last......... Jim said they are gonna update with LiPo function soon.

sorry for the rant. I know my oppinion isnt needed, im just bored at work!

Josh

WOW-- I hope the 512 maintains all the features of the 16X5V6 and if it then adds step charging, thermal cutoff and the V2 dyno then that charger for $139 (tower) will be the best charger on the market by far!!!!!! I can hardly wait. I want to see a picture! I will be ordering 2 to replace my V6's.

I have a MRC977 and I really like the dual charge option. IMHO the best all inclusive charger on the market. Does all your charging needs and comes with a power supply.

However, the $20 off today @ TowerHobbies was a good enough reason for me to get the ICE and a temp sensor.

The ICE is looked down on because of the Duratraxx brand and the low cost but in all honesty it is a spectacular charger and shows that Much More is really sticking it to their customers by charging $100 more for a charger that does less. Now that doesn't mean I am not a fan of Much More, I use the CTX-C and their CTX-D discharge tray but the CTX-C Charger is no better than the ICE. They both have step charging, they both have temp probes (the CTX-C is a little better) but the ICE runs in a motor. If the ICE had a Much More logo on it and cost $100 more it would be the hottest charger on the market

Hands down it's the Competition Electronics (CE) Turbo 35 gfx.

It's expensive, but is the best charger in the world.

The Duratrax Ice and LRP Pulsar II are both great chargers.
