I would stay away from sensored motors, they aren't waterproof where the EZRun series is waterproof.

Check out ZTW. Had a really good experience with that brand. Little known, but very good quality. Very good prices.
Obviously you're gonna get a lot of recommendations for HW and for good reason. They have good esc motor combos. Most people have good experiences with hw and the prices are the most competitive. I like do a little research on different or alternative brands available. Name brand, imo, doesn't necessarily mean best or most reliable. Paying for the name.

if you dont drive in water then you can buy
T.-SKY 120amp only 20bucks
i have try this ESC my self, 3s 4000kv motor in Slash 4x4
No issues at all
until i drive it in heavy rain, i know this was stupid.
I anyway want give it a try in rain also.
Dry surfaces no problems
and only 20us

Then you have
Racestar 120a esc that is waterproof.
Double the price
about 40bucks

Then you also have Hobbywing
This is very nice esc, Ezrun Max10 SCT YOU CAN Fine tune alot with programmer box.
this is about 75us and waterproof

And if you want one of the best ESCs that exist if money is no issue
Look for Mamba X or Spektrum firma 130a. Both waterproof

Other cheap esc is Surpass Hobby 120a , waterproof about 40bucks

All these can run 4 pole 550 size up to 4000kv

Mamba X you can go atleast 4300kv 3s if you want the most extreme power, if you want change the motor in future to faster. This ESC handles it
This esc is atleast 140a + , not rated , anyway the strongest of them all in 3s
these are 100bucks + both

Racestar 120a waterproof is good and cheap esc
Max 10 esc is better, then you need pay almost double the Racestar

i have also hear that ZTW have couple good ESC todays. And good prices.
I have never try one self
