If Losi releases anything even close to the 22 5.0 or Elite I will be happy. What I mean by "close to" is an updated the design based on user feedback. Pretty much every manufacturer updates each vehicle one at the time, with some model updates lagging behind others. Obviously this has to do with what is selling and/or popular. The 22 buggies are pretty much up to date and really great vehicles, but the 22-4 is falling behind. Still uses c-clips, older style shocks, parts found on buggies for several years ago, etc. The 22 SCT is also a bit behind. You can buy a 3.0 but to get current popular features like a laydown tranny you need to spend more money for a conversion on top of the price of the vehicle.

I have always wondered why there is so much secrecy when releasing a new model. If people had something to look forward to they might wait it out and forego another brand knowing something new is just around the corner. Especially when the model we are hoping they upgrade is outdated and outraced. It's not like they are going to lose out on sales of the current model if they promote a new model. If the current model is outdated no one is going to buy it anyways.

Those were still 22-4s. The new car would have had to been available to the public for X amount of weeks for it to be able to compete at nats.

I was looking forward to seeing the new car but nope no dice.

Oh well my B74 is still amazing.

This is only a rule in "stock" classes. You can run any chassis you want in mod, including a 100% scratch built, one off car.

I hope Losi doesn't try to match the price.

If I were a betting man (and I am), I would bet the price is between $449-$499. So set the line at $479.

I'd hope for 500.00 range if I was wantiong to get it. Hopefully that would mean ready to go out of the box w/ no durability/performance issues. After all these years I would hope they have all the bugs worked out.

We have been lucky enough to watch them test a few buggies for the past week or so and from what we saw, TLR customers will be happy. It looked great on track.

What things stand out to you on what you saw?
