Default Buggys And Truggys 1/8 with Covered Secured PinionGeraring Cover Stock or Optional ?

Hi

i live in Scandinavia.
Right where i love bash most , there is small super hard stones, these bastards destroy alot when they goes between pinion in my motors.
No Matter if i have Pro Options like superhard steel stuff.
Its only here.

Other places the sand and small stones is soft.
Metall gering works ok.

I can only run cars with total gearing covering like Slash 4x4 , Arrma typhon 3s blx. X-MAXX .

today i was with couple friends driving at my favorite bash place. big asphalt area meets alot sand .
problem is that this sand place got alot mini hard rocks. this place has destroy minium 80 gearings this summer

my friends both need change main gear an pinion tvice.
3 GEAR system both
this day
My Arrma 3s BLX Buggy run without problems. Like a Rolex Watch allday , PERFECT 18T pinion

I like buy couple new cars soon.
They need be Brushless kit or so
and they must have this total gear cover or atleast something you can buy and easy screw there

please share

My Arrma 3S BLX 1/8 Buggy newer let me down.

Friends try my Talion 6S
And one had also Typhon 6s

Then Couple Losi and also one Tekno Truggy 1/8
ALL need repair gearing.,
Exposed gears do not belong here .

TRX all cars and my Arrma 3S BLX survived allday long bashing and they want more.

Offroad cars with exposed gearing is bad !

Make them do the right thing now please

Many gears is broken and needed replacement.
Mostly the systems cuts down and you need restart esc after removing couple stones,. sometimes there is no stones left..

Ye ye
this is sad.
Almost allroad. Offroad cars some is so bad made they dont make it all.

Cars with full gear cover makes always people here happy and love RC.

6s Arrma, and Tekno RC , also alot others = please COVER THAT SHIT please !!!!

Hello again, HardBash. I have a similar problem here in the Rocky Mountains of the United States. That's why I've wound up joining you with the purchase of an Arrma Typhon 3S. Another vehicle that I've had a lot of success with in terms of fighting off the effects of little pebbles is my Traxxas UDR. However, I vacation from time-to-time in various places in Scandinavia so I know how much more expensive things can be there compared to the USA. I can only imagine that a Traxxas UDR would be even more expensive to purchase there and maintain. Another way of dealing with it is going the 2WD, rear motor, covered spur route like a Traxxas Slash. Yes it's a little more important to select the right tires, but it can still be a fun time. Heck, maybe even more fun when you through in the challenge!

Losi Tenacity (4WD) might be an option since it has a gear cover. I've only had mine for 2 weeks so I can't confirm yet whether the cover will truly keep pebbles out of the spur gear. I've only taken the cover off once and it looked like a good fit, but only time will tell whether it's effective.
