They’ve just announced the Ultima, so probably a way off, but logic suggests that a Mid will follow the Ultima

Been thinking of ordering a Turbo Optima, I'm concerned if I do, they will release the Optima Mid, and that's the car I really want.

I have both of the Turbo Optima's New and old and I love them both, the Rere is very strong good for brushless, The Ultima if it gets the same drive train should also be good for some extra power.

No Optima Mid re-release has been announced. This is just Discussing how possible it could be. Lots of us want one. What can be said, is Kyosho will update the diffs and what not to have the ability to deal with modern power, and probably include some option parts with it.

The Rere Turbo has Alloy gears and a slipper clutch instead of a limiter spring and has the hopup belt drive standard also the shocks are now threaded for easy adjustment , and the shock towers are a bit thicker than org, battery holders are larger and made to hold new Lipos and the Servo mount is Redesigned, and they added toe adjustments as well. Should have called it the Turbo Optima MK II lol.

My older Turbo has the Silver Mid Se shocks and they feel a bit better when turning!, the shocks shafts are a bit thicker too. Maybe we will get a refresh of those shocks as well with a Optima Mid or Turbo Ultima Rere !.

We can only hope. I love my ZX-5 and RB6.6, so I'm plenty excited to get my hands on the Turbo Optima for now.
