Maybe he's not mad, just confused by their choice. I do like the concept of the CC collector's pieces, but I really don't get why the 6.4 should be considered iconic enough to justify a CC edition. RC10: no-brainer, any other historic version (even the original B6), granted. The B6.4? I didn't even consider buying the normal kit.

The 6.4 makes sense - the toolings all in place and it's not like they'll be knocking out loads of bits in the regular plastic anymore with the B7 on the way. So while everything is sitting in the right factory they can knock out a few thousand CC kits.

Not mad (there's enough of that on the Internet), just having a chuckle over another clear kit. I'm already guilty of buying the first one.

while i understand iconicism (is that a word?) is not what justifies the go no-go production decision, i agree with your point for MY level of purchasing at this point. so what qualifies as iconic to me: 1. old (like 25+ years old), 2. having won at least 1 WC, 3. started a category and/or significant trend within a category. probably be on the phone with my lhs today for preordering if this was a 93 worlds CC.

... ahh hell, probably be getting this anyway.

this exactly... those M&T are sitting idle... might as well churn out some stuff with them...

this is definitely a cool piece, but I don't see it selling well. the RC10cc was much more reasonably priced. it's an iconic car everybody wants one. now for the B6.4cc that price is kind of a stretch for a shelf queen. I predict these will be on amains black Friday discount list.
