still haven't fully released the 989. I bet we won't see the buggy till December

Well, “announce”, not release... At least the 989 has already been announced, and who knows? Maybe the 989 will be released some time between now and the Worlds.

Aside from the appearance of the pre-production buggy in a UK magazine, Serpent has been mum about it.

I find it odd that there is not a Serpent representation at the World's. I would have expected a new car to be run through it's paces at such an event.

Tony Evdoka said there wasn’t enough time to get it ready for world’s.

If that's the case then the car is NO WHERE near ready for production

All I can say is exactly what the drivers of this car said: "Shouldn't be long now." I personally think it is only a week or two away. No way they'd have that whole website up ready to go if it wasn't close. There wasn't enough time to prepare for world's, but I'm not sure what that preparation entailed. Truggy to follow by end of year (I think). Buggy is a lot closer than we think. Get the wallets ready.
