Got the 401R-T body back from the painter, and tossing some standard decals on while I wait for the custom ones. Cant seam to find where I placed my grill set at, so made little temporary hood ornament to break up all the white in the front. But I'm very pleased with the overall look of the body. And how well it complements the trucks feel on the track. Also really like how it drives basically like its buggy counterpart. As it makes it even easier to transition from vehicle to vehicle during race days.

+1
Although I am running into electronics issues( I have a new 6.5T motor on order from Trinity) the current speed of my 401R-T feels almost identical to my 401R.

Only concern I have is the inside wheel jitters in the chicanes, doesn't seem to effect performance (I'm still able to hit 98%+ consistency), but it's noticeable enough that at least a dozen people have come up to let me know that they are noticing it too. This problem doesn't happen with my 401R buggy.. shrug. Biggest selling point at our club is that you can get 14mm ride height right out of the box and folks are impressed with corner speed with no traction roll issues

Thanks! Even tho I was about to give up on the painter lol...I wasnt expecting almost 3 months wait to get it back but oh well...yes I've been super impressed with how it dont want to traction roll. And I'm even using a fairly tall ride hight compared to you guys. And not even a hint of being tippy even in our fastest sweeper. Now the little wheel jitter I do get a tiny bit in our very tight section of the track, basically just bunch of 180s back to back, and closer to that full wheel lock one side to another and I'll see just little jitter, but like you I dont think its affected the performance really. Actually reminds me of my old V3t in the way with just more initial steering at slow speeds of course. But I love it, just seams easy to drive fast.

sorry I haven't been on in awhile...lol...I'm trying to think what I was comparing to answer your question and even went back a couple pages to look lol...Now on setup if your looking for carpet I would go with more Bill's or Dean's setup at the moment. Theirs was just more suited and stayed flat in the sweepers this weekend. And had more initial steering...I will be changing out my setup and going with theirs....Even with a pretty far off tune I was able to get within 2/10ths of Dean's fastest lap so excited yo get back at it and get it where she needs to be....over the weekend I did finally break my first inner pin on the front arm, but that was from a little delong speed bump at the bottom of a wall ride lol .....to me this truck is probably the best available out for any given surface as you dont need 20 option parts to have it perform

I'll Text Bill and see if he can post his setup from Astro/carpet running in Austin. Should be a good start, If your running slicks and damp track. If a little looser than that just go down on all the oils about 10% all the way around (shocks & diffs)

Haven't been able to find an editable pdf setup sheet yet, but here's the next best thing I have to offer:
