https://site.petitrc.com/setup/associated/setupb6.1/

Go down under Tips and Tricks and look at Ray Mundays axle height guide, It has the 2w and 4w on there as they work differently with their different hubs.

I'd link directly to it but you should be familiar with that page, theres tons of good info on there for everyone to check out including setups.

I just got a new B74 and want to put together a spare parts box. What should I have in my box besides arms?

I only really break front arms, front shock shafts and front towers. And usually only when I crash hard. Like when I hit someone upside down on the darkest part of the track. B74 or B74.1 they are awesome buggies

If anyone has mounted a Savox 1258tg with the AE 20mm 1368 clamping servo horn, could you tell me how many ball stud washers you are using? Using the stock plastic servo horn as a guide (assembled per the manual with one 2mm ball stud washer), it takes me three 2mm (or 6mm) ball stud washers to get to the same ball stud location on the Savox. This looks excessive to my eye, even though it lines up...

So I'm super curious to know what others are running...

Thanks in advance!

I've got the same servo & servo arm. Using 4mm of spacing between the arm and ball stud. Haven't had any issues with that setup yet.

Thanks! I was sleuthing Petit RC's site last night and found two wildly different set-up photos using the AE #1368 20mm servo horn:

Spencer Rivkin's B74 - https://site.petitrc.com/setup/assoc...CRC2020011012/
His car was set up with only one 2mm ball stud washer and the link looks like it's at a pretty steep angle and to me might change the rate of steering over left / right throw from center.

Joona Haatanen's B74 - https://site.petitrc.com/setup/assoc...olo2019072226/
This car was set up with three 2mm ball stud washer's and the link looks a little more perpendicular to both the horn & bell crank input arm. This looks like steering might be more linear and is similar in apprearce to using the kit plastic servo horn.

Based on that, I think I'm going to start by trying your set-up of two 2mm ball stud washers...splits the difference of my obseverations above. I should note, the servos used on both Rivkin's and Haatanen's cars were not the Savox 1258tg but, I have to assume they are all pretty close?

Just finishing building this kit and spur gear wobbles, tighten it up bit the more I tighten the more it wobbles, took it apart and redid as manual and stills wobbles, is there anything else to do or is it normal?

Does anyone know if the b74.1 slipper is a drop-in replacement in the B74?
