well we have a brand new indoor track opening here in vegas this week, and they have almost every AE part they ordered on back order. This has beent he case for all AE parts and kits since thunder tiger took over. I hate to say it, but Thunder tiger is driving that company down. Sure they have guys that could drive bricks around the track fast, but where there is absolutly no part support, the car is as useful as a duratrax.

Now, i have been a losi guy since i started with my first ever kit, the Junior 2. Yea, loooooong time ago, so i have seen many kits come out. All have had flaws, some are found faster then others. Mostly by drivers that wreck, which team drivers dont do as often.

But about the 1/8th car, i hope they bring it to the silver state classic. I would love to see it in action.

yes the xb8 was xray's first buggy

losi has so much more expierence in offroad
now with the mayhem and LST also in nitro too
the mayhem had his geometrics right, on the spot ..

but that also means to me
Losi has got to get this thing right
or they will loose all credibility, and with all those other brands around
even have severe losses on it ...

with over-sized fueltank
I think, they mean perhaps
the tank being large and flatter taking more space horizontally
but being lower, creating a more lower CG

I just wonder why people that have no intention of buying a Losi car, like to get on here and bash something they haven't even seen yet. They have no idea how revolutionary this car will be. Imagine what Gil Losi JR and Adam Drake could dream up with all of their chassis experience.

BTW Team AE release's everything as a sport kit then after all of the bugs are worked out, you have to then re buy the kit you just bought with all of the changes on it. And the mbx-5 was the same way.
not trying to start a fight here, it's just ridiculous sometimes how people jump the gun.

I know what losi is gonna do, put LST shocks on their buggy, haha. all you will notice is 4 shocks attached to a car driving around the track.

Hhhhmmm.....

Thunder Tiger has/had no effect on parts and kit availability from A/E. Suppliers are the issue and it has been resolved. They are now or VERY soon to be shipping again.

Much like TL tires availability.

A/E "AND" TeamLosi release new models as "race level kits" first, before adding hop up items when sales level off or fall slightly. Then the latest version gets a Factory Team or Racers name added, etc.

Both also release the 2w buggy before the truck version.

TeamLosi will release an awesome innovative 1/8th car, i'm sure.

As will A/E when they release theirs not long after. Both have buggies for 1/8th scale on the way, with A/E a little later.
