Default Excited to run this thing!

Just about ready to test this bad boy at the track tomorrow! Just have to glue the tires on is all! And Im very proud of the paint job. Not bad for only my 2nd one. Anything I need to do before I put it through its paces, such as breaking it in or anything?

Setup specs:
Tekin Redline Gen3 6.5T
SMC 170 amp esc
Amazon servo (well see how it does for $25)
Venom 4500 mah 100c shorty
Proline Positron MC all 4

After you get the tires glued, you need to set the ride height, check camber and toe settings. Did you program the esc and set the end points for the steering? If so you need to drive it around to make sure the steering trim is set so the car drives straight.

A 6.5 is a lot of motor, so don't be surprised if you repeatedly crash your brand new car really hard. The Tekno is durable, but it does have some weak points (hinge pins and turnbuckles are soft, and the rear outer hinge pins are not captured).

Nice! One thing I would expect to replace before too long if not right away is that plastic servo horn. Upgrade to an aluminum one and you won't have an issue of it stripping out.

If you want that stripe to pop out take a black sharpie and trace the blue edge... also do the window trim or other details.... if you don't like it wipe it off with alcohol

Looks good! I also just finished my EB410 build last night. Running a Tekin 5.5 with the SMC 170 ESC as well.

Love the business grey paint scheme. That's all I want to say.
