Default Castle ESC yellow light

Hey!

So this esc is being odd. I bought it broken, cleaned it up, fixed it up, re-soldered the components and wires and itís turning on, throttle and steering work great.... but itís blinkin a yellow light. Iíve read this means thereís a problem with the esc, but itís working fine? Could it be that the esc is fine, but because of the rewiring done to it the yellow light is a side effect? Or should I be worried?

Its a Mamba Max Pro SCT edition.

Thanks,
Shnoo

This question belongs in the Radio & Electronics section. There is a representative from Castle Creations who answers questions posted there all the time. He should be able to help you with your questions.

Have you tried calibrating the mid and endpoints? You said you bought it broken did the previous owner inform you what problems he had with it?

Blinking yellow means it's in "Blinky" mode. (no timing)
