Talking 1/10th 4WD Truggy?

Anyone else hoping this class takes off? Seen a couple pop up at my local tracks and they look like a hell of a lot of fun to drive! Tekno has one and I just saw a PR rendering of theirs.....come on Yokomo!!

No I see it as a stadium truck with training wheels. Most of the guys I see driving them at my club are the slow guys. I already think that there are to many classes. I preferred the 90s when all you had were stadium trucks 2wd and 4wd buggies. And the fast guys all ran mod not stock.

I liked the 80's when we ran 2wd nitro stadium truck outside on real dirt and there wasn't an internet full of condescending assholes, but ya know.....times change

If there's one thing for sure, it's that people absolutely love to hate this class. I'm not sure why but it seems to be because many see it as a "all the slow guys run it" class. In reality, I think it's more along the lines of "all the people here to have fun and not chase a sponsorship run it" class.

I love them! They're overpowered, ugly, and the chassis has tons of character just as a truggy should(speaking on my ET410). It's definitely not a platform that heralds driving precision and skill, but it's a very fun one.

I'll drive the wheels off one....1/10th scale 4wd has been one of my favorite classes forever and I think this brings a little more fun to such a competitive class

I'm an A Main 13.5 4wd driver and there's one truggy they let run with us that's always in the top 3 with us.....and most of the guys in 4 wheel at my home track are sponsored too, they aren't that slow. Pretty sure he's running a mod motor and not a 13.5 so there's that

I'm curious what brand nitro stadium truck you ran in the 80s. Because the rc10t and jrxt came out around 1990 and the rc10gt came out around 93 or 94.

late 80’s early 90’s are pretty much the same when you’re 42 years old but you get my point

I prefer racing back then to today. It was always heads up racing no Ifmar starts. Very few indoor tracks around. It was always dirt or clay.

We did not have any 1/8 scale tracks close to me at that time. So I raced the jrxt and jrx2. When the rc10gt came out I noticed a lot of the guys in the pits always fighing to get them tuned right and I saw a lot of flame out's and dnf's so I did not want to join in their misery.
