Looking to pick up one of these motors to try out, just looking for reviews, opinions, etc for those that have tried them.

have a 7.5 in my buggy and a 6.5 in my stadium truck. these are by far the fastest mod motors I have ever used. they come very well shimmed out of the box. timing on mine is 20 degrees. haven't changed anything on either of the motors. take them out of the box and go. ive been beating on the 7.5 for over a year now and have seen no degradation in performance. you wont be disappointed if you buy one of these.
