Default NEWB Servo Question

Newbie here, just picked up a TLR 22T 2.0 and need to put a servo in it.

Any recommendations? Looking to run some local club races on carpet in the near future, but don't need the best servo out there.

Thanks!!

Savox 1258tg is an excellent servo and is not very expensive.

I have been running Savox servos in most of my cars and I haven't been impressed with their pricing for replacement gear sets. Most brands of servos tend to get slop in the gears after about a year or so, this is the first indication that the gears are on their way to stripping... while it's possible you may get another 2-3 more years of use before they actually strip, I generally like to replace the gears just to have peace of mind... no fun stripping a gear in an main and getting a DNF for lack of proper maintenance... see this sort of thing happen all the time with some really fast drivers in my area.

Anyway, I'm in the process of slowly migrating over to EcoPower servos where they charge half the price of Savox for their replacement gear sets and the specs on these servos rival the specs on many $200 servos on the market

I have switched over to the Eco Power servos from Savox.I like them a lot. They are just as good as any of the name brand servos out there at twice the price
