I'll try to get some wheel time with a pillow ball car this summer to see if it suits me better. There's always next year, right?
lol, yea, cant beat that price.

New car needs to be released already though

Still try out a pillowball car, might suit you better, or, it might not.

Good luck and have fun. Any questions, hit me up or Gee. Follow me on IG @b_main_rc for tips, tricks and memes lmao. No seriously, we're here to help.

Keep the rubber side down!

Yeah, between that and the HW XR8 combo being on sale today, that sealed the deal. Makes for an easy decision. I'm just club racing anyhow. Gotcha followed on IG !

I recently bought a roller and the rear center driveshaft can easily pop out of the cups. If I don't shim the bone with a bit of ear plug foam I can slide the bone forward and it comes right out. Is this normal? What length should the rear center bone be? Thanks.

Dunford said on livestream today that the 1.0 front arms will fit on the 2.0 in a pinch, which also means the 2.0 arms will fit on the 1.0 (same pivot width). He also said the 2.0 arms are much much much much stiffer. That means they should be an easy, cheap upgrade for the front end of the current XE. The rear arms are different pivot width and not cross compatible.

Looking into getting an 1/8th buggy for racing next season. I'm looking at the XE Elite and the new X 2.0 that was just released. Is there much difference between these two? Are the parts interchangeable? Going to be making my final decision in a few weeks.

Completely different cars. Very few parts, if any, will interchange.

For those with the 1.0 still and LIT blocks, I finally nailed down the setup for my track:

Hard Packed
Dry
Dusty Groove

With this setup, I was able to FINALLY put the power down out of the corners hard and was super comfortable with it. Too bad I got tangled up in the 1st lap crash in my main, but she was soo good, I went from the back of the field to finish where I started in 4th, and my best lap was .08 off the leader who ran the fast lap of the group.

Feel free to reach out to me with any questions and I hope this helps anyone that may need it!

LIT blocks setup

Default Front drive shafts dog bone popping out of diff cups

Hey im really green to building rc cars. So I built the whole tlr 8ight xe 2.0 kit and thought I did well. Got it to the track and hit kinda hard and the drive shaft dog bone pops out when the shock is fully suppressed I've tried almost everything I think. Down to switching the pills. Has anyone seen this happen and what could be the issue. I've asked my local hobby shop they don't know. It's almost like the drive shafts is a 1/4 inch short or the diff cups are short. I really hope you all have an idea I really dont want to give up on this
