Sorry guys for coming back with questions but what is a waterfall in this buggy. I have read it different places. What is it for?

Cheers

The waterfall connects the front end of the transmission case to the chassis and helps to limit the amount of flex the chassis has.

That’s just the plastic brace that goes over the motor. It attaches between the chassis at the front of the motor and the transmission case at the back. Some people trim it or you can get different plastic materials to change the flex of the car.

It’s the brace from the gearbox to the chassis. It goes over the motor.

Picked this up last night at Hot Rod Hobbies. So excited to build this bad boy this labor day weekend.

Any word on availability of the conversion kits for the VHA (TLR334069) and new pivot set (TLR334062)?

I know, I've checked horizon's website about 1000 times in the last two days. And I already ordered an elite, need these for my other 5.0.

Did some chatting with horizon and they said mid September closer to the 23rd for the conversion kits. Basically two weeks after the kit release. As with anything that can always change.

The DC elite kit build is going well so far.

Was surprised to see no mention of putting black grease in the CVA joint. Is this an oversight in the manual? Or is there a reason for no grease?

Most of the parts came with the kits, they just need to make they're way into the DC's. Should be available any day, but they don't receive at all on Mondays.

Yes, use grease. I commented to remove the threadlock icon, looks like they took out both.

Let me just say. So far the build of my elite is pretty amazing. Everything fits and it was so easy compared to my ae b6.1 ..... love the design too... very different from what I'm used too.

Picked up a NIB SR kit for like $100 off retail for my first 2wd buggy. Motor/esc/servo ordered... what LiPo packs do people use in these? 2c shorty packs?
