Yup, it's a different world. I remember some time ago, reading that they were running spools on the REAR of 1/8 on-road cars. That blew my mind a little bit.

Also, it looks like they have designed a lot more or an opportunity for chassis flex into the new car. The new steering rack looks fantastic as well, a lot less play than a fresh 4.0 rack. It looks more compliant/composed on the track too(granted, in the hands of professionals). I'm excited for their release!
will there be a SR version?

Does the SR version usually release alongside the other kits? I'm pretty interested.

I just removed a diff, and with a power driver. Let's not sugar coat the lack of a quick access diff. Now back to the reassemble.

For me, the wrench time isn't even my biggest gripe with a lack of quick access. I don't like that I would have to cut holes in my chassis protector for the transmission screws every time. I just hope that the most rearward transmission screws are not close to the edge of the chassis, because if the protector has holes near the edge, a few chassis slaps will rip off the protector at the edge, and cause that edge to be shaved down, or increase the frequency of buying the protector sheets. I guess that could be overcome too, by using clear protectors that aren't pre-cut, so spare material can be used for touch ups.

Main differences I notice are for AC Astro Carpet version, sway bars, gear diff and Stiffezel rear arms.
DC Dirt Clay version has new ball diff and standard non Stiffezel rear arms.
Anything else to note for differences?
Got a couple typos in there too but I'm gettin one any way
