yep, 2s shorty packs exclusively. A lcg pack is recommended however, especially in stock classes.

I have only had a 4.0 bit from following the various information from TLR is quite a lot of changes mainly around the front end - the rear is very similar. People appear to like the way it drives and it is now available as two separate cars whereas the 4.0 was a little compromised out of the box for high grip - laydown but no anti roll bars or gear diff.

Finally, I can now do a serious comparison between the TLR Elite versus the Yokomo YZ2 CAL2.

I just saw that 22 5.0 has an optional gear diff from Plastik? And is really cheap ?! (Here in Germany at least) should fit at the 4.0 as well? Not bad choice for 22 and not 70 as the Aluminium .

The G2 gear differential TLR232101 is listed as a 22 option/spare part and as such should be compatible with every 22 series vehicle.

I have a new 5.0AC coming in next week and was researching the thread here and wondered what the VHA conversion was used for and which version. Mine will be turf/carpet. Hope I feel half as good with this one as i do my 22T 4.0. Thx.

Does the 22 5.0 Elite kit come with a rear bumper? My kit did not have a rear bumper, and looking at the new style D block, it doesn't look like it's made to fit a rear bumper between the chassis and the D block like the previous version. However, there is a bumper pictured in the manual and in some of the online press pictures. Am I missing the bumper, or does the Elite not come with one?

mine doesn't come with it. but the d block looks like the B6.1 d block. I'll see if it fits.
