When the left rear tire diffs out, both the outdrives are turning in the direction that would loosen the diff, regardless of which side the diff screw is orientated. So the side you put it on doesn't really matter.

Thanks! I'd like to think I'm responsible for at least a few dozen 5.0 sales...

...still hoping a 5.0 Elite will magically appear on my doorstep one day.

Something isn't being assembled or broken in correctly. We just posted videos with details for these processes. Follow these correctly and you won't have any issues for sure.

Default Ease of maintenance

Hi 5.0 owners.

I would like to ask you how is the maintenance of this particular buggy comparing to SCTE 2.0 or any. Unfortunately SCTE class is started to dye out in here :/ I am thinking to buy in the buggy class since I have a losi I try to convince myself that a reasonable purchase is a losi buggy......however I really like the Yokomo and Xray 2wd buggies?
What you think?

Thanks for your input,

Just pulled the trigger on a 22-5.0 Eiite... so excited to race this bad boy... in clay and dirt.
Wondering if Frank Root has a good setup for wet track dirt... Hot Rod Hobbies.

Cheers guys for the input. I checked the elite version of the buggy looks great unfortunately none of the stores have it in my region :/ One question come in my mind. During winter we usually race on carpet in the local sports hall what you think since the elite version is heavily optimized for dirt and clay can you tune it for carpet? Has a simple 5.0 mores versatility? Sorry for dumb questions I just started to drive buggies.

THX.

Yes the elite is intended to be run on clay tracks. But it has all the TLR team upgrades and is a decent value for what you get. If you intend to run it on carpet as well you can get the upgrades to tune it to a carpet setup just a easily as you would the normal 5.0.

Thanks for your input,
I would recommend that you get an SCTE 3.0 and help keep that class going. SHORT COURSE!!!

Thanks for your input,
Maintenance of a 2wd buggy vs a 4wd SCT? No comparison, 4wd vehicles have many more moving parts, 3 diffs and put out way more power (which mean more wear and tear).
IMO, 2wd buggies are a breeze to maintain
