Racing outdoor medium bite Clay but sometimes the traction comes up to high depending on the outside Temps and if the track is blown off before the race

Trying to find part numbers for these new 5.0 ballast weights. Checked TLR site but only found pics, no numbers. Anyone come across them yet?

At least this was my experience. When i did my build i built it SLRC, but after a couple weeks changed it to LRC, and the car was much more "responsive". I'm sure there is a more technical answer, like I said, in my experience, this was the difference.

Pretty sure these are for the 4.0. Not sure they released any for the 5.0 yet. I know the brass c block has been updated to a 22g one.

Messed around with this on the SCT previously and today on my SR. With 4mm trail the car is slower to respond initially to steering input but more predictable mid to late corner. 2mm of trail gives more but into the turf we run initially but car has more twitch in the corner and very sensitive to steering input. Overall I am faster with less trail. I wonder how this would pair with Akerman #4 arms.

Positive note: TLR really figured out the diff. Not sure if its the new thrust balls and washer -- but its smooth for days.

Just curious - are guys using the stock rear axles or has anyone went for the lightweight titanium axles? Seems to me reducing weight on the drivetrain would be most important in stock racing.

Stupid question of the year:

Will TLR shock pistons fit on AE shafts? I hosed a front shaft this past weekend and are looking at the SC6.1 rear shafts as possible short term replacements. They are not as long but I can make up most of the difference with +2 eyelets and no internal limiters

Na most important thing in stock racing is driving cleanly with no wrecks, and on the racing line.
