Who said they were done with the car.
One step at a time so they know what the improvement is of each change.

Like most designs, there are some updates inspired by other cars as well as some completely new solutions to old problems (battery strap looks awesome!).
I would gladly give up a quick diff access for a front sway bar I dont have to remove the front end to access lol.

Same with the battery - May just make a plate for my daughters buggy to copy this one.
Nice to see Losi still working towards the racers wants and needs.

I haven't seen it mentioned if the AC version has front wheel offset that is standard carpet (Schumacher/AE/Yok) or still the odd offset that requires only TLR wheels?

Does anyone know if the 4.0 body will fit the new car? Also is the front shock tower the same? Didn't see or hear anything about this, maybe I missed it. Thanks

How would anyone other than Frank, Reno, and maybe two other people know since the car is not out yet. No one other than factory pros have the car!

I don't know if it is complaining about working on stuff or rather the fact that quick access gearboxes have been out for a while now, even with diff height adjustment options. Of course, there are worse things, but it is hard to understand that a proven feature may not be available for your favorite brand's car for maybe yet another year. The 5.0 will be the perfect choice for every die-hard TLR fan and a big step forward from the 4.0, but I doubt it will people make want to switch from another brand that offers the quick access feature, especially as you need to buy proprietary wheels. That being said, I'd still consider a TLR SCT before the AE 6.1 as I feel TLR's parts quality is still better despite all the progress AE has made in the past few years.

LOL Power drivers ...... now thats a snowflakes tool.

Real men (and women) twisting all those screws in, that'll make you really respect working on your cars.

Very true. I once had to bow out of a qual heat because that dumb out-drive set screw backed out during a warm up lap. Was able to get the diff case out of the car, torn down, re-loctite the screw and put it all back together by the next round all without power tools. Felt pretty good after that lol.
