I'll be running a 5.0 sr with a 17.5 monster max on high bite soon. Will I be ok with DD?

we've got pretty hi bite clay, Reedy Offroad race was here, we're quicker with slippers, easier to drive hard with no surprises I'd say.
Got some fast 17.5 motors hittin the dirt these days.

Well technically all rear 2.2 wheels will fit but not all of them will be the right offset. TLR as its own proprietary offset for the 22 vehicles so you'll have to buy unmounted tires and use the wheels like the ones that come in the kit. You can get aftermarket ones of course from jconcepts or de racing for example you've just gotta make sure they are for the 22 3.0 or newer. From my experience the TLR wheels do work the best especially with these new stiffezel ones.

I wasn't aware that they were different offset. I use both on my AE car, can't tell a difference (but that's just my sensitivity level as a driver..).

I was going to chime in to point out that TLR front wheels are completely different from everyone else. Offset is not close enough to swap between brands.

Top photo Spur Gears on the left side of the car this photo spur gear is on the right side of the car is there any advantage to running the spur gear on one side or the other so the motor wires are on opposite sides

You have your orientation confused. I always remember it as imagining your in the driver's seat which way is right and which is left.

The second picture is a snap from a facebook video. Stuff is just reversed in videos. Spur is on same side as it has been.

Typical laptop webcam: things are mirrored to give a more natural image to the user.
