Does anyone have a lead on where I can get the 'soft' mud guard? Checked Amain and the usual suspects already.

Default Vha conversion kit setting

Could someone please help me understandil the setup of the VHA conversion kit on my tlr 22 5.0ac kit!
tried looking at Frank Root setup but i don't understand the setup sheet too much its embarrassing but I struggle on the setup sheets ,need to know how to read the pills and know what position to put them in on C and D pivots. I also installed a losi racing C and D pivot set. Also which hub insert do I install? I'm doing Carpet setup. Please educate me,still in learning curve. Thanks

Default TLR332077 Aluminium Diff Cover for G2 Gear Diff

Anyone using this on their 5.0 AC stock gear diff?It comes with only a gasket and black O ring so I’m assuming you just transfer everything else from the stock ie the washer. The stock washer is way too thick. After forcing the pin through the outdrive hole it would turn with lots of resistance. I have to use a 0.2mm washer. Thank you.

Was looking to possibly buy the 22 5.0 dirt kit, but horizonhobby is showing it as "discontinued". Though the elite kit is still available. Is a new version imminent? Is this just because stock is low or something?

Pretty sure the 5.0 DC Elite is just the "new version" of the 5.0 DC, they've also used that naming scheme on the 8ight X Elite

I was kinda surprised to see this show up in my feed.

the non elite dc returns with a few extra goodies, and a gear diff.

For the price, I honestly think it’s not a bad deal, and it starts someone out with a buggy that’s kind of “in-between”, making the swap from dirt to carpet a bit easier. So for dirt, I’d definitely want to have a ball diff handy, while for carpet, just get yourself some springs and the anti-roll bar set. Regardless of which way you go, you’ll want a decent compliment of shock/diff oils on hand anyway... Oh, and maybe a pair of aluminum hexes to replace this composite ones on the rear axles. Regardless, the additional parts you buy would put you around the original price of the DC, and you’ll have some extra stuff in your pit box to show for it.

Sure, you miss out on building the kit, but the big takeaway from this is that it already gives you the upgrades that I would recommend ANYONE get if they have a pre-Elite buggy anyway - the updated rear end. Not bad for the introductory price, IMHO - especially if you want to have a “T-car” handy in a pinch!

I gotta say, for $270 that's a pretty darn good deal. Obviously I would have preferred to have seen a 6.0 though. Well, hopefully later this year.
