Will be joining the tlr fam this friday, curious what length sensor wire will be sufficient. The 22 5.0 will be my first mid motor car, not sure if there is a standard length nowadays? Im hoping to run sat, would like to have all the little tid bits before heading to the track. running a macalan pico and a schurr speed 17.5

I think I am using 150mm flat wire. I use shoegoo to mount in in the channel down the center of the chassis.

So does the grooved side face the shock body or the screw on cap? I put mine towards the screw on cap not towards the shock body. Did I install them correct or wrong?

Beginning of the thread had a discussion about this, the grove should be positioned towards the cap in such a way that the groove is visible with the shock assembled.

Anyone else notice that the links to the PDF manuals all seem to be broken on the TLR site (at least for the 22 buggies)? Serves me right for wanting to look something up while at work, lol.

if youíre on a mobile device theyíre always sketchy at best. Try from a laptop/desktop and see?

Iíll try later, but I got a legit ďPage Not FoundĒ error. Never had a problem from my phone before, but weíll see once I get on the desktop.

I know this is the tlr thread, but can anyone give me an honest opinion how the elite compares to the b6.1/6.2? My son drives a b6.1 factory light. Iíve driven it and itís good. But the losi seems like a better deal. And Iíve always preferred tlr to ae. We run on pretty high bite clay (slicks) so my concern is does the car work well on high bite? Most of the fast locals run ae, so that would be an easy choice for setup help. But I really like the design of the 5.0 minus not having a quick access diff.

On Phend video he talks about V cut for the foam of the tyre.
Can someone explain or a picture?
I never heard of it and he said it was popular 😱
