Not a race build so I just went with the stock setup other than 60k F, 100k C, and 30k R diff oil. It's scary quick with the 6S Max8 setup + 15/44 gearing, and handles pretty much any terrain beautifully with no heat issues.

Thats one sick basher. Try it out on a track sometime if you can. It’s an amazing truggy. 6s has got to be insane in that!

I wish I could buy one of these. No electric truggy kits for sale anywhere online. At least I have my 7t to get me through but this sucks lol.

I feel your pain. So many parts have been hard to get. I was told the eco truggy would be back in stock end of June. Being July 1st, it shouldn’t be much longer.

Folks, I brought an used 8T nitro hoping to get son into it. Few practice sessions, he wants to go electric. I also have an an 7R Eco.
Does Mugen make the conversion kits like before? What parts do I need to convert to electric? Assuming I need a new chassis, motor mounts A&B, Center diff mount, Eco battery and receiver tray and Spur gear. Of course new body. Any thing I am missing?

Is MUGE2249 the correct complete diff for the 8t? Compatibility shows up for the 7 vs 8 on all the sites.

OK, the answer is, sort of. MUGE2249 comes with a helical cut ring gear vs the straight cut from the kit. Everything else seems to measure out correct though. The correct, straight cut ring gear is MUGE2264.

Sorry about that. I should have caught that. I could’ve sworn I checked and it looked good. I guess I missed it.

Anyone running the JConcepts 7TR body on the 8T? The rear body holes are a very tight fit to get the clips on/off. The body is raised where it meets the post. How do you trim yours?

Very awesome MBX8T in this thread!
Just if someone is interested in selling one, I’m looking for a MBX8T Eco or a E817T

Any info please PM me, paying through PayPal and shipping inside the US.

thanks!

Does anybody know why these are never in stock? Are they coming out with any updated model, like Tekno did with there truggy, and then stopped making there previous model. Somebody at DNC said they saw the new Mugen truggy, but I never heard or saw it. Just wondering why it is never in stock.

The new season's knocking on the door so I guess people bought a ton of them. Our distributor is currently estimating a restock towards the end of the month (might be different in the US).

As to a new/updated version. A forum member hinted towards an October release of a new nitro buggy, if it goes down like last time that means it's about another year after that before the truggies are released.
Team drivers have definitely been using some funky parts in their buggies at DNC (e.g. pivot point in the rear closer together, similar distance to MBX6 but definitely new parts) so it wouldn't shock me if the truggies weren't stock kits either.
