I have both the reedy 5800 and the protek 6100 and I haven't been able to notice a difference. However if I was going to pick one I'd get the protek because of slightly higher mah and the pass through bullets.

Reedy HV Zapper 3600 or the Reedy Zapper HV 3600. I have both, and they seem to be the same battery.

My guess is that both Reedy and Protek are rebranded Intellect batteries, which actually is a good thing. There is only a handful OEM battery manufacturers, so chances are high that you get Intellect, Sunpadow or Gens Ace no matter what the sticker or stamp on the case says. Many of my racing buddies have used the Gens Ace RS line with good success, others the Corally LCGs, which I would assume is Sunpadow at heart. I tried various batteries but keep coming back to Intellect. I have yet to try my new 3600 mAh 120C shorties, but would be surprised if they were bad.
One thing that most people (myself included) don't pay enough attention to is their charger. If any possible, get a quality charger with decent balancing power, e.g. a Junsi iCharger. Your batteries will reward you with a longer lifetime and more power output.

+1 most batteries are made by the same company (don't know all them), but some companies have higher regulations to pass through inspection.

I run Muchmore 3800 HV and it works great, and at $60 seems like a bargain compared to some of the others listed. https://www.tqrcracing.com/shop/prod...asp?p_id=13745

Great price! I have used the Muchmore batteries for quite some time and really liked them, but prices increased too much and I just couldn't justify paying twice the price of other quality items. I have come to like 5mm connectors, though, and IIRC Muchmore still use 4mm. If you don't care about that, the Muchmore will be a great choice!
