wondering if the new split diff will make its way into the buggy versions. Any idea on what offset of wheels work?

More information can be found on Mibosport. It uses AE style wheels, e.g. the JConcepts Mono. I am positive there will be an updated version of the buggy with the new transmission in spring at the latest. Their updated 2WD have been released in April the last few years.

Looks like mibo is doing an offer where you also get a gear diff too. I am hopeful that amain could do something like that as it can put some value into the kit versus the likes of xrays xt2 offering that is like 2 trucks in one.

Update: Amain mentioned they don't do those kind of deal matching (for the gear diff). sounds like it would need to come from Yokomo USA to include that as well as its a Yokomo Europe kind of thing. Be nice if they could do that.

How close in general is the price mibo has to the conversion to what amain usually charges?

I used a prev. conversion by FactoryWorks using AE/JCo wheels with success.

Should be interesting throwing another ST info the mix.

Losi, AE, Xray and now Yokomo.

Gerd is no longer working in the RC industry. Jörn and Michal used T6.1s at EOS Rd1 last weekend, and Muz Schumacher today confirmed they were thinking about making their own truck.

As I was happy that Schelle finally came out with a dedicated Yokomo Nova slipper clutch, I've got one waiting here for the kit to arrive. The standard slipper set-up will be ok and, like any other, can be improved with a set of FR4 pads, e.g. by RDRP or McKune.

yeah I got a set of FR4 or similar style pads here for the schelle setup actually. I am curious still want exactly is the difference between a schelle and avid setup. I see one is slightly cheaper but with less pads.

It's just the standard single slipper from the YZ2-DMT. I will probably run the dual slipper like I do with the DMT2, and YZ4SF. With the ventilated top plate though.
